It is traveling at\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0a speed of 8.7 kilometers per second<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and is estimated to approach our planet on May 29 of this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2654 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/gallery1.chainityai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-35.png\" alt=\"\" data-src=\"https:\/\/gallery1.chainityai.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-35.png\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">Compared to other asteroids, to illustrate their difference, one can observe how the Chelyabinsk asteroid, which impacted Siberia in 2013 and\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><strong><span dir=\"auto\">caused nearly 1,500 injuries<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and various destruction to buildings, was about 15 meters wide and 17 meters long.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"middle-entry-content\"><\/div>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">However, the danger of this asteroid, named 52768 (1998 OR2), impacting planet Earth is quite remote.
